Graduated actor from the Adelaide Center for the Arts and internationally trained actor in “Commedia Dell´Arte - The International School of the Comic Actor”, by Antonio Fava, ArscomicA, Andrew Crupi is a founding member of the Adelaide Sketch Comedy Group “The Golden Phung” (in Australia) and the Commedia Dell´Arte Theatre Company “comicINcontinenti” (in Europe). In Australia, he writes, directs, produces and performs in "The Golden Phung”, and works on numerous solo and group productions for different theatre companies and festivals such as Adelaide Fringe Festival, ComeOut Youth Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Comedy and government sectors including the Education Department and Art Gallery of South Australia. Having also worked with physical comedy, puppetry, clowning and general circus, stand up comedy, improvisation theatre, mime, and numerous other skills, Andrew Crupi is now investing mainly in the roots of comedy with substance and history with Commedia Dell´Arte to put together with his own background experience and creative processes.
